The Archaeological Research Center has developed a version of its Archaeological
Resources Management System (ARMS) database package for access from the
Web. A variety of access levels is available to users, depending
on need. Researchers and government agencies should contact the Center
for further details. Note that full access to the ARMS database is on a fee basis. Prospective users must apply by completing a user agreement, supplying a current résumé, and submitting the relevant fee. More information is available at the Archaeological Research Center web site. The general public can also use the system, although
not all data categories are available.
Before using ARMS, users must log in.
Members of the public wishing to visit ARMS can enter 'visitor' in the Login and Password fields
- New ARMS web site. Sometime in the near future the ARMS database and mapserver hosted at this site will be moved to a new one hosted by the state's Bureau of Information Technology. The new system will be undergoing further evaluations for the next couple of months before being brought live. It might be possible to bring out a beta version for user review. Let us know if you have any concerns of questions.
